Centinela Radiology Medical Group has been in private practice in Southern California for more than 50 years staffing the Internationally renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Institute and will be filling the need of an opening Musculoskeletal Radiologist position with a partnership track.  The Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Institute is owned and operated by the Cedars-Sinai Health System and is a high end Sports Medicine facility with over 20 Orthopaedic surgeons and 10 sports medicine Fellows. Through its history, it has served as the team physicians for several professional sports teams in Los Angeles in addition to traveling professional athletes.  The workload is sports related Musculoskeletal and Spine MRI (90%) with 5-8 arthrograms daily, 10 % CT, and myelograms.  Last year a brand new state of the art Siemens Fluoro Suite was installed. We are in the planning stages to replace the existing 1.5T GE Signa scanner, separate GE 1.5T Optima extremity scanner, and Toshiba CT scanner. The candidate must have at least 3-5 years of work experience after a formal Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology. 

There are also 2 hospitals contracted and 1 other imaging center contracted which the candidate will be expected to rotate through and cover General Radiology Call ending at 8pm weeknights and 6pm weekends encompassing all modalities including ultrasound guided vascular access and biopsies. Call is 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month.

Cedars-Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital is a 145 bed community hospital that also offers specialty care in spine, surgical weight loss, minimally invasive general surgery and emergency care services.  The spine services are some of the best in the country with tertiary referrals from all over the US.  The hospital has a Bariatrics center that is accredited by the Joint Commission and holds the Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence designation by the American College of Surgeons and American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. In Jan 2020, the Cedars-Sinai Marina Hospital will begin the first phase of its multi-million dollar complete expansion adding 5 additional floors including a brand new Radiology department with 2 new CT scanners, 1 CT spect, 1 new MRI,  2 new angio suites,  and new x-ray and Ultrasound units.

Centinela Hospital Medical Center is a Prime Hospital.   Centinela has 369 licensed beds with approximately 16,000 admissions per year and 70,000 ER visits.  There is a new Interventional Radiology Suite finished in 2018.  There are 3 CT scanners with two having 256 channels.  The plan for 2019 is to add 4 new scanners to replace and upgrade the present scanners.  These will all be GE with dual energy capability.  One will be placed in the same Suite with the new GE IR room.  The ultrasound machines are all GE, Zonare and Mindray.  The GEs are the work horses all being LOGIQ 9.    The Mindray machines are just for IR access and procedures.  In 2020 we have been allocated a new 3T MR scanner. 

The Inglewood Imaging center is an outpatient clinic that CRMG contracts.  There is a Siemens Sensation PET/CT, Siemens Symphony 1.5T MR, Ultrasound and radiographs.
