ACGME Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship

One position available July 2027 – June 2028

Clinical Training Offered:

• Radiography
• Computed Tomography (CT)
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
• Musculoskeletal Sonography (US)
• Spine Imaging
• Arthrography
• Soft Tissue and Bone Image-Guided Biopsy (CT, US, Fluoroscopy)
• Interventional (Joint Aspiration, Injection)

Collegial atmosphere. Excellent teaching from a large number of faculty (10, including 6 members of the Society of Skeletal Radiology and 2 members of the International Skeletal Society. Collaborative relationship with Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, and Rheumatology departments. Large volume with vast pathology and excellent musculoskeletal oncology experience with referrals throughout the state. Busy sports medicine service including professional athletes from the Detroit Lions football, Detroit Pistons basketball, Detroit Tigers baseball, Detroit Red Wings hockey teams, and many athletes from local universities and high schools. Fellowship includes training in spine imaging and diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound. Large number of interventional procedures including soft tissue and bone biopsies, joint injections, and joint aspirations.

The fellowship program is limited to graduates of ACGME-accredited radiology residency programs.
