SSR 2027 Annual Meeting Abstract Guidelines

Invitation to Participate
The Society of Skeletal Radiology (SSR) invites the following only to submit abstracts to be considered for presentation at the 2026 SSR Annual Meeting:
- SSR Full Members
- SSR International Members
- SSR Emeritus Members
- SSR Members-In-Training (MIT)
- Radiology Residents
Procedures and Deadlines
- All submissions must be received by 8 pm Eastern Time on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
- Disclosures for ALL authors/co-authors are required within the submission form as well as their institutions, city, state, country, etc.
- Designate the abstract “Presenting Author” at the time of abstract submission. This is a final decision by you. If there are serious extenuating circumstances prohibiting the Presenting Author from giving the podium presentation, any change to the designated abstract Presenting Author after acceptance must be approved by the Program Chair. However, inability of the designated Presenting Author to give the podium presentation may result in removal of the presentation from the program.
- Please include author and institution names in the specified fields within the abstract submission forms. All abstracts are reviewed in a blinded fashion; as such, please DO NOT include the names of authors or institutions or other identifying information within the abstract text.
- Abstracts are approved for inclusion in the program by the SSR Program Committee.
- Announcements of approved presentations will be made at the beginning of November.

Each submission type has unique requirements for authorship, content, abstract format, and award eligibility. Please carefully review the following descriptions of each submission type before proceeding to the next section and ensure that you are submitting in the appropriate category. Submitting an abstract in an inappropriate category or format may negatively affect the chances of acceptance.
