SSR 2026 Annual Meeting - Health & Wellness Activities

 

Have FUN in California on Tuesday, March 10!

Join fellow SSR attendees for one (or more!) of these optional, independently booked activities taking place on Tuesday afternoon. Whether you prefer ocean views, a playful walking adventure, or an active coastal ride, there’s something for everyone. 

Whale Watching Tour

Enjoy a scenic coastal cruise with the opportunity to see whales, dolphins, and other marine life. When feasible, SSR attendees will be grouped on the same departure.

  • Departure Time: 2:30 PM
  • Duration: Approximately 2.5 hours
  • Cost: Approximately $48 per person
  • Departure Location: Newport Beach (approximately a 20-minute drive from the conference hotel)
  • Cancellation Policy: Free cancellation up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund

Self-Guided Coastal Bike Tour

Explore scenic coastal paths connecting Huntington Beach and Newport Beach, with highlights including the Huntington Beach Pier and the International Surfing Museum. Helmets, bike locks, and route maps are included.

  • Departure Time: 2:00 PM
  • Duration: 3–4 hours (self-paced)

Scavenger Hunt – Let’s Roam App Tour

This interactive, self-guided one-mile walking tour transforms Huntington Beach into a playful adventure filled with riddles, trivia, and photo challenges—completed entirely at your own pace.

These activities do not require pre-registration and can be booked individually as desired.

Spa Options: Several local spas offering massages and wellness treatments.

1.Pacific Waters Spa at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach (Conference Hotel)

2.Aarna Spa; in the nearby Pasea Hotel. 10 minute walk from the conference hotel.  Offers special pricing for certain services on weekdays. 

3.Drift a Waterfront Spa; in the adjacent Hilton; 6 minute walk from the conference hotel 

4.Wren Day Spa; Less expensive option, 15 minute drive from the conference hotel.
