Purpose * Acknowledge agreement Purpose: SSR has evaluated how to improve the current application and selection process for residents who apply to MSK radiology fellowship programs. Based on its review, the SSR has established an MSK Radiology Fellowship Match Program through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). The SSR believes that a Match is the best way to ensure that the application and selection process is fair and transparent for both applicants and programs. It allows both parties the opportunity to explore their options and make informed decisions without pressure or coercion. Importantly, it establishes a uniform timeline for interviews, ranking and notification. These are essential elements for sustaining the value and quality of MSK radiology fellowship training. The SSR desires that all eligible US-based MSK radiology fellowship programs participate in the Program, and will implement the "All in Policy" which requires that all available fellowship spots in participating programs are listed through the Match. Participating programs must be accredited or affiliated with an ACGME program, sign a sponsorship agreement and agree with the NRMP's timeframe. This Memorandum of Understanding establishes the parties' responsibilities regarding this initiative. 3. No Offers Commitment * Acknowledge agreement No Offers Commitment: SSR requests that participating fellowship programs not make any offers to applicants for the 2026-27 appointment year outside of the Match. Participating programs may interview candidates for the 2026-27 appointment year starting on January 8, 2025. 4. Term and Termination * Acknowledge agreement Term and Termination: Programs must enter into this MOU by August 16, 2024. This MOU shall remain in full force and effect through June 30, 2025. At any time, the parties may extend and/or modify the MOU beyond the initial term. Alternatively, either party may terminate the MOU on thirty (30) days' written noticed provided by any reasonable business means. 5. Entirety * Acknowledge agreement Entirety: This MOU constitutes the entire understanding and agreement between the parties. Any additions or amendments to this MOU must be in writing and signed by both parties. 6. Understanding * Acknowledge agreement Understanding: All parties fully understand their legal rights, responsibilities and obligations under this MOU and accept them as legally binding.7.
