In a response survey distributed last year, our membership ranked a mentorship program among the top priorities for SSR leadership to focus on. A task force was formed, and they got to work. This group worked together to ensure that this new initiative would provide the framework and support required for successful mentorship for our members.
Their work has resulted in a tool that we believe will meet this mentorship need, SSR Connect.
SSR Connect is a secure online platform that can be used to search for and connect with mentors from current SSR membership. Individuals have the opportunity to create searchable personalized profiles that contain their areas of interests. This, in turn, will allow for easy connections between mentees and mentors as well as groups of SSR members with similar interests. From one-time conversations to ongoing communications or partnerships, SSR Connect gives our members the opportunity to meet their mentorship needs in an easy-to-use format.
