The Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging in the Department of Radiology at Duke University Medical Center seeks candidates for a clinical faculty position as Assistant or Associate Professor.  

The successful candidate will be capable of integrating into an established and growing clinical practice including radiography, CT, MR, MSK ultrasound, and intervention.  There is an expectation to teach medical students, residents, and fellows.  Facilities include state-of-the-art clinical scanners housed in a new hospital, cancer center, and throughout the greater Triangle area, including MDCT, DECT, 1.5T and 3.0T MRI, and CT fluoroscopy.

The Division is recognized for providing high quality, expert care and works closely with colleagues in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery through multidisciplinary conferences and research and clinical collaborations.  In addition, the Division is productively engaged in diverse educational activities throughout the health system, including mentorship, supervision, and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. 

The Department of Radiology has a substantial research infrastructure which includes biostatistical and administration support, a clinical research MR scanner, a research CT/PET, small animal imaging technology, and a close collaboration with Departmental PhD scientists and researchers across Duke University.

Candidates must be ABR-eligible or ABR-certified, have completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency and a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship, and have demonstrated excellence in research, education, and clinical care.  We are particularly interested in the identification and promotion of faculty who are women or underrepresented minorities.
