The Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging in the Department of Radiology at Duke University Medical Center seeks candidates for a clinical faculty position.
The Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging Division operates an established and growing clinical practice covering adult musculoskeletal services including radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance (MR) imaging and ultrasound. In addition, the Division provides a variety of multimodality image-guided interventions, such as image-guided biopsies and aspirations.
The Division is recognized for providing high quality, expert clinical care and is closely aligned with Orthopaedic Surgery through multidisciplinary conferences and research and clinical collaborations. In addition, the Division is productively engaged in diverse educational activities throughout the health system, including mentorship, supervision and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
The Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging is nationally recognized for clinical and educational excellence, and consists of 7 engaged faculty and 7 musculoskeletal imaging fellows.
The Department of Radiology has a substantial research infrastructure which includes biostatistical and administration support, a clinical research MR scanner, a research CT/PET, small animal imaging technology, and a close collaboration with Departmental PhD scientists and researchers across Duke.
Candidates must be ABR-eligible or ABR-certified, have completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency and a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship and have demonstrated excellence in research, education, and clinical care. We are particularly interested in the identification and promotion of faculty who are women or underrepresented minorities.
