MSK Radiologist C TRACK
The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale School of Medicine invites applications for a board eligible/certified Musculoskeletal Radiologist with fellowship training for a full-time faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Clinical track.
The MSK section currently has 5 faculty and 3 fellows. The practice includes a large tertiary care hospital with a dedicated Center for Musculoskeletal Care, a level one trauma center and multiple satellite offices. We are a close and cohesive section with diverse clinical interests. Applicants should be enthusiastic about joining a hard-working section and excel at high quality work in an academic environment.
A strong interest in clinical care and education (undergraduate medical and graduate medical) is required. Exemplary clinical skills and a commitment to expand the range and quality of provided services are essential for promotion. A candidate’s willingness to collaborate on scholarly output is not essential, but would be an advantage. Clinical responsibilities include MR, CT and radiography as well as image guided procedures.
The department offers state-of-the-art imaging equipment in radiography, CT, MR and intervention. Our primary sites of coverage are at the main Yale New Haven Hospital and St. Raphael Campuses, both of which are centrally located in New Haven, a vibrant and engaging University town. Additional coverage takes place at several of our Ambulatory Care Centers in surrounding New Haven and Fairfield Counties.
