Assistant/Associate/Professor of Clinical Radiology

Musculoskeletal Radiology Division

The Division of Musculoskeletal Radiology at UHealth, University of Miami Health System and Leonard Miller School of Medicine, is seeking a fellowship-trained candidate for a full-time faculty position at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor in the clinical educator track. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpret musculoskeletal imaging studies and perform musculoskeletal procedures.
  • Supervise performance of technical personnel.
  • Be part of the on-call radiology schedule.
  • Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of general radiology and musculoskeletal imaging.
  • Provide musculoskeletal imaging consultation as requested.
  • Comfortable performing routine image guided interventions.
  • Provide emergency patient care as required in the setting of a radiology practice.
  • Staff off-site outpatient-imaging sites as requested by division director or Chair.
  • Assume administrative responsibilities related to the practice of musculoskeletal radiology.
  • Participate in teaching activities related to general radiology as required in:
    • Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine residency training programs
    • Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship Program
    • Medical student education program
    • Technological radiology educational programs
    • Continuing medical education programs
  • Become involved in clinical research activities.
  • Serve on Departmental and University committees as requested by the Chair.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Competitive applicants will have completed at least 1 year of dedicated subspecialty fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology.
