The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon, New Hampshire is seeking one BC/BE fellowship-trained, Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join our established service of four radiologists. This full-time faculty position is for an individual with a strong interest in teaching and/or research. This position is primarily based at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, where responsibilities will include interpretation of the full range of MSK studies, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, DXA, and xray as well as performing interventions including percutaneous biopsies, joint injections and arthrography. The radiology department also provides teleradiology and on-site coverage for multiple affiliated hospitals throughout New Hampshire and Vermont.

 

The Musculoskeletal staff are actively involved in the supervision and teaching of our radiology residents, medical students, fellows and learners from other departments. This section works closely with clinical services including busy Orthopedic Surgery, Rheumatology and Neurology departments as well as a growing Sarcoma service. Section members attend and contribute to a variety of multidisciplinary conferences.A focus on high quality clinical work and service is paramount. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience. Applicants must be eligible for licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont.

 

The successful candidate will join an academic practice comprised of 40 radiologists.  Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is the only academic medical center in New Hampshire, providing tertiary care services for our region, and serving as the only Level 1 trauma center in the state.  State-of-the-art imaging equipment at the medical center includes 6 MRI scanners, four CT scanners, PET/CT and 7 US machines. The US staff includes technologists with specific training in musculoskeletal ultrasound.
