The Health & Wellness Committee has compiled a list of different activities that members can sign up for. These activities take place outside of the Annual Meeting and are separate from meeting registration. Please contact the SSR representative listed if you are interested in signing up for any of these activities.

Hiking Excursion/Bandelier National Monument
Bandelier National Monument protects over 33,000 acres of beautiful canyon and mesa country.

- Over 70 miles of hiking trails
- Pueblo Loop Trail guided tour - begins at 1:30pm, duration: 30 minutes
- Cultural demonstrations of the many tribal nations that have called this land home
- Bird watching
Getting there:
- Approximately 1 hour car ride from Sante Fe
- No public transportation that time of year
Hours: From Dawn until Dusk
Cost: Depends on how you arrive
- Individual vehicles with a capacity of 15 or fewer (standard sedans, SUVs, 12 passenger van, etc.) - $35 per vehicle
- Vehicles with a capacity of 16 or greater (shuttle bus, etc.) - $15 per person up to a maximum of $150 for entire vehicle

Guided Historic Walking Tour of Santa Fe
Guided walking tour of Santa Fe centered around the historic city center, making frequent stops to see important sites and talk about various bits of history, architecture, culture, politics, and art. Santa Fe is a small city and yet is packed with interesting people, places, and things to see and learn about. In addition to giving an overview of the city and its remarkable mix of tourism, art, science, and politics, as well as, its multiple cultures, the tour will touch on the signature architecture of the city, the ancient Native village underlying this 420 year-old Spanish city, the unusual geography of the Upper Rio Grande Valley, and much more.
Duration: 2 hours
Getting There: Tour starts in city center at the Plaza (or the Santa Fe Community Convention Center)
Tour Start Time: Afternoon – exact time will be provided (Peter is flexible so we can figure out the best time)
Cost: $200 per group

Santa Fe School of Cooking
The Santa Fe School of Cooking is a regional, recreational cooking school specializing in foods of the Southwest for 35 years! Their talented chefs have written cookbooks, won prestigious competitions and appeared in the pages of glossy magazines. In July of 2023, they were honored to win ‘Best Woman Owned Business in Santa Fe’ from the SF Chamber of Commerce. Get to know Santa Fe by immersing yourself in New Mexican cuisine at The Santa Fe School of Cooking!

Meow Wolf
Meow Wolf is an immersive art experience. There are different ways to "experience" it. You can be hands off and just look with your eyes. You can explore with your hands (e.g. open the drawers, look in the nooks and crannies, etc.). You can use your brain and solve the themed mystery. With 70 rooms, there is a little something for everyone.
