Clinical Training Offered: 

Our one-year fellowship is geared to applicants who are American Board of Radiology certified or eligible. Fellows will gain expertise in all facets of orthopedic imaging including radiography, computerized tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and imaging-guided procedures. - - Fellows receive referrals from the Departments of Rehabilitative Medicine, Rheumatology, and Orthopaedics (including Arthroplasty, Oncology, Pediatrics, Spine, Sports Medicine, and Trauma divisions). The MSK team at Mount Sinai routinely performs advanced imaging techniques such as dual energy CT, cartilage-sensitive MRI, and imaging of metallic prostheses. - - Our training program also offers our fellows opportunities to teach, participate in multidisciplinary conferences, and pursue research interests. Clinical investigation is of paramount importance, and we provide dedicated research time and mentorship. - - Mount Sinai Radiology uses state-of-the-art, ACR certified equipment including: • Twelve high field (1.5T, 3T and 7T) MRI systems including a 1.5T GE Optima extremity scanner ; • Eight multislice advanced CT scanners ; • Eleven quality ultrasound systems ; • Four digitally compatible x-ray and fluoroscopic machines ; • Two Positron emission tomography (PET)/CT scanners ; • One PET/MRI hybrid scanner
